The Premise

One American. One Jet. Two Governments in the Way.

In the summer of 1980, Bobby Wood found himself in the middle of the most challenging ordeal of his life: facing off against two powerful nations while dealing with cultures of drugs, criminality, and stonewalling bureaucrats working against him. What he uncovered touched the largest criminal investigation since the death of John F. Kennedy — and the 1979 assassination of a sitting United States federal judge.

Love at first sight — tires shot out, chained to the ground, under armed guard. Bobby Wood, on first seeing 464 Juliet
As a pilot, I found Learjet 464 Juliet to be an incredibly thorough and detailed account. The aviation alone makes it a fascinating read, but this story goes far beyond the airplane. The cover-ups, corruption, roadblocks, and treatment Bob Wood endured while fighting to bring N464J home are almost unbelievable—and yet this is a true story. His determination through it all is remarkable. I would highly recommend Learjet 464 Juliet to any pilot, aviation enthusiast, or anyone who appreciates a true story of perseverance against seemingly impossible odds.

A thrilling flight into the frightening corruption and poverty of drug smuggling of Columbia in the seventies. It is an amazing accurate detailed account of Mr Wood’s harrowing adventure that will have you eagerly turning the next page to see if Juliet finds freedom, and if Mr Wood makes it out alive!

I Should be embarrassed to say this but your book is the first complete read I’ve done in 20 years. I couldn’t put it down. Going to fly over sometime with Otis and have you sign it if you will.
